Invitation for Meeting of Stake Holders (Alumni, Recruiters, Parents, Students and Faculty members) on 18/10/2015 at 10:00AM

Dear Stake Holders  (Alumni, Recruiters, Parents, Students and Faculty members),

Meeting of all above stake holders is arranged on 18/10/2015 at 10:00 am to finalize the Vision, Mission, Programme Education Objectives (PEO’s) of Computer Engineering Department.

These Mission, Vision and PEOs have been drafted after meeting between faculty staff and alumni on 06/10/2015.

VISION

To become a recognized leader in Gujarat by producing Technically Skilled, Creative, Independent and Socially Inclined Diploma Computer Engineers contributing towards the ever changing needs of society.

MISSION

1. To provide quality undergraduate education in both the theory and applied computer science and train the students to implement this knowledge to solve the problems of real world.

2. Committed towards broadening of educational opportunities to females and underprivileged students in the discipline.

3.  To develop positive attitude towards lifelong learning according to the demands of versatile society.

4.  To provide more opportunities for faculty, students and alumni of the department to interact and network together in formal and informal settings.

5.  To support other academic and socially interactive programs conducted by the institute.

Program Education Objectives (PEO’s)

Program Education Objectives (PEO’s) of the Diploma Computer Engineering program are to provide education which will help them in progressive development of their carrier and ethical values.  

Diploma computer graduates will be

1. Apply basic knowledge and skils to solve the problems of various areas of basic science and engineering.
2. Successful in the field with fundamental knowledge of computer engineering, making valuable technical contribution to the design, development, deployment, trouble shooting and maintenance of various windows and web based applications.
3. Able to create, maintain and troubleshoot various types of computer networks.
4. In position to apply their knowledge in trouble shooting of various peripheral devices.
5. Using lifelong learning abilities to develop their professional careers and will adapt with versatile society.
6. Applying their knowledge to help in solving society related technical problems and develop new products in the field thus improving quality life of the people of the society.

We intend to get inputs from all the above stake holders. All are requested to go through above drafted Vision, Mission and PEOs and attend meeting on 18/10/2015 at 10:00 am am in AV Theatre, near Principal's Chamber at T.F.G. Polytechnic, Adipur.
